Do the skippers have a boating license?

Yes, all our skippers have a boating licenses so your tour will be as save as possible.

What are the toilet facilities?

There is no toilet on the Rinus. During the tour there are several options to use a public toilet. Let the skipper now in time if you want to use the toilet.

Is there a sound system on the Rinus?

Listen to your own music during the tour! The Rinus has a nice sound system. You can connect your own device with a cable or Bluetooth.

What are the catering options?

It is not allowed to bring your own snacks or drinks on the Rinus. See all catering options here. Please contact contact us for special requests.

When can we book a tour?

The Rinus sails when the wheater permits, from the beginning of April to the end of October. We sail every day of the week and all day long.

What is the maximum capacity of the Rinus?

The Rinus can accommodate 32 people. Are you coming with a larger group? Please contact us, we can possibly arrange an extra boat.

 

Where can we board?

Each tour starts at the Schuitendiep, next to the Kattenbrug. This location is easy accessible on foot from the centre. The nearest parking garages are the Damsterdiep and The Forum (both about a 5 minutes walk) If you have other wishes regarding boarding please contact us.

What if there is bad weather predicted?

In case of bad weather you can cancel or move the tour without costs up to 24 hours in advance. The conditions for our bad weather policy are:

  • More than 1.8mm of rain falls during your booked time;
  • Windforce 5 or more;
  • It is colder than 10 degrees;
  • Thunderstorms have been predicted at your booked time.

Conditions apply according to Buienradar. For cancellations due to weather or other reasons please contact us as soon as possible.

How can I pay?

At the Rinus you can pay in cash or by card. For companies it is possible to pay the bill by invoice, please indicate this when placing your reservation!
